Hello! Played this game on our channel. Thought it was really cute and the idea is absolutely great! Thank you for creating this, had lot of fun!
I use an Acer Chromebook, it doesn't run in in my Chrome browser. I really wish I could play the game!
Ah that's too bad. I have no way to test a Chromebook :/ Do you know if you've played other Unity Web games on it?
This is definitely not what I expected. Phenomenal work for an Asylum Jam! And yes, I know I'm three years late... xD
i had no sound in the browser version
That's no good! Mind telling me what browser and operating system you're on? And you have sound in other html5 games? :)
it dosen't runs
Oh no, did you mean the browser version?
I'd like to know which browser/operating system you're on, if you don't mind :)
you are very lucky
Pretty good for a game jam, but the sound design is plain obnoxious. It feels like someone is loudly chewing next to you, which is NOT creepy, just annoying.
This game single handedly ruined everything i like about carrots xD.
Here's my play of the game, I thought it was little above mediocre. Still it was good.
This game was incredibly scary! The fact that we've just dug up the carrots and scrub them without washing is just too much to handle. One of the best scary games i've ever played! 69/10
Great creativity, good job!
Not scary, not creepy, too repetative, to boring, not fun. BAD GAME
A short game but very well done, the creep factor is there in droves. The sound design is simply fantastic here, sound plays such a huge role in any good horror game and here it is perfect, the combination of crunching carrots, bubbling cream and sighing is so off-putting it made me incredibly uneasy.
It's a great minimalist horror game that manages to creep you out on many different levels.
Pretty cool stuff. Quite off-putting, hah.
I have (kinda) a new phobia thanks to this game.
So, i guess it's an excellent horror game ?
(I still eat carrots, buit it's a bit complicated. THANKS ! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
Very well made. Creeped me the heck out. Please excuse me I need to gouge out my eyes and wash my brain.
Well i played through the game and I think its fcking weird .... but I really enjoyed the experience... I know I am weird but the whole concept is very unique and even a little art'sy. I was confused all the time and i know where the idea of putting it on the horror area of the page. I was creeped out by it and I believe that is the point so BRAVO guys, you have the reaction XD Thanks for your hard work !
For anyone interested I recorded a reaction video and I think It is pretty funny so feel free to check it out ( but not before playing the game as you really need to feel it yourself xd )
Thanks for sharing the video! Happy you enjoyed it. Or at least had a reaction to it :)
sad its a old game :(
This is an incredibly brilliant game, because it doesn't rely on the typical horror tropes to play with your emotions, and in only a 5 minute experience leaves you feeling disgusted. Awesome job :D
Loved this game, the end was so gross!
I love horror games that don't scare me. This is funny and disgusting but still a well made horror game. Cool!
Gotta love that hearty old time meal of Carrots and Cream. OH GAHD WHAT HAVE I DONE!
This game disturbed me and I can't really comprehend why.... good job though! Thought I'd share my playthrough... that worm :(
This was really weird lol :D
I liked this, it was cute, until the end, even though that was cute too, in an indie-game sort of way.
Check out my let's play [QUICKIE!] no annoying commentary, all pop-up style:
I take it that "cute in an indie-game sort of way" is a good thing. That was a fun little playthrough. Thanks! :)
it would be cool if the shovels during the worm part came down at the same times and places where you put the shovle in the shovel part
Aww, it looks like a very great game but I can't play it.. It crashes everytime I launch it..
Sorry to hear that! What system are you running it on? (If it's the Android version try the LOFI version instead)
I tried to play the game on windows 8. Other games seem to work properly, but when I open this game, it crashes. I'm very confused.. I tried to set the graphics on simple mode and I thought it might help but it didn't!
Did you try both the 32 and 64 bit versions? And does it give any error messages or does it just close the application?
I tried both of the versions. It doesn't give any error messages. I open it and after a few secs, it starts to not responding.
Very strange! This is the first such error I've heard of, does it freeze even before the menu shows? (The game starts with a blank screen and a rather long sound clip)
I'd really like to take a look at the file called output_log in the CarrotsAndCream_Data folder. If it isn't too much trouble you can mail it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org :)
Strange but true.
Here you have my playthrough of this game :D
Hope you enjoy and stay rad everybody!!
So were the carrots Ginger Peoples Souls? Awesome game! loved the art style, would love to see more game like this! well done!
I'm glad you posted it here too, hope you get some donations. :)
